This car is not emblematic, but, has a very special
place in my memory.
It attracted me a lot when I was a kid, not only for
its sporty image, but also by strong colors with which it was marketed.
From a completely banal car, the 850, Fiat has created
in 1965 this little car with a design close to the Ferrari design, and used very
unusual colors for the time. Basically, this was a cheap Ferrari.
But let's get to SketchUp, and the images used in the
modulation:
The images used to texture:
The basic modulation:
And the final effect with textures:
The photomontage, very Italian:
The video to show the complete job.
And the "photo-blueprint" of the final
model.
Hi Jose. Would you be willing to share the model file with me? My grand mother had this car in Spain when I was a child and I would like to see if I could make a physical model of the car with 3D printing. I do work with 3DS Max myself and could build it...but your model looks good, so it would save me some time. contact me at jdc@(delete)it.dk
ReplyDeleteHello, my model is very basic, the detail is in the photographic textures, I doubt it will serve to print the 3d, but you can download a very, very good model from Geogeo in 3d warwhouse: https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model/a5e4dab228fa66fab1386c6d635d3153/FIAT-850-SPORT-COUPE-1968
