Another design classic, this time one of the world's
most famous chair, the Barcelona chair, designed in 1929 by master Mies Van der
Rohe for the German pavilion at the Barcelona International Exhibition, also a
reference work.
There are many examples of this chair in SketchUp’s 3D
warehouse, but the ones that have better quality, due to the detail modeling,
become too heavy to use as component. So I decided to create a model with
photographic texture that is available for download.
The modeling was, as usual, simplified to the essential
form, in order to maintain very light the file when applied inside contexts.
Here is an example of using the chair in indoor
environment.
