Ask the most famous designer to
design a bike, it’s take the risk of creating a timeless icon.
That's what happened with this
Aprilia, despite not having a significant market share, quickly reached the
design icon status, and is now a collectable object included in several modern
museum collections.
The key, as always, is the
simplicity of the final design, mainly achieved with ingenious organization of
the various parts, such as the exhaust which are confused with the frame.
As for SketchUp, modulation was
made directly from the bike photos, so the textures were present from the
beginning.
